Google Pixel 7 Pro Summary
Inside it has Google’s Tensor G2 processor, in India it comes with 12GB of RAM. They are cheap Huawei P30 Pro cameras, including a new ultra-wide-angle snapper that is also the macro lens due to autofocus support. The Pixel 7 Pro also has the additional of telephoto capacity that provides 5x optical zoom and 30X zoom digital.
In terms of software quality it is as excellent as the usual – Pixel 7 Pro arrive with zero bloatware and Google’s exquisite Android experience. The camera has never been the default but it’s as good as ever; and a new first for Google Pixel, the macro mode. Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro Performance
Software performance was fluid across both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, though I noticed some random instances of stuttering initially. I also encountered my fair share of interface-related bugs which were more common when I first began using the devices, but these disappeared after subsequent software updates. Both phones heat up a bit when you’re simply browsing through the interface outdoors during the day or when downloading large files or games, but I had no problems otherwise.
Final Verdict
The Google Pixel 7 is a decent premium smartphone with quite commendable camera quality along with battery quality and average quality of the display. It’s not going to be winning any awards for style or design any time soon – it looks incredibly similar to the mid-range Pixel 6a (Review), although it is made from much higher quality materials. The opposition for the Pixel 7 is well filled by such smartphone as Samsung Galaxy S22 5G (test). It is compact, gives similar battery endurance, 120Hz refresh rate, and uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It also looks more premium with nearly nonexistent sides of the display and starts at Rs. 62,999.
